ABOUT DR. AHMED ABDULLAH
Accomplished in the art of cosmetic and reconstructive
surgery,
Dr. Ahmed Abdullah has earned an international
reputation for excellence. While he is adept in the
implementation of a full array of plastic surgery
procedures, he specializes in rhinoplasty – both primary
surgeries and revisions following unsatisfactory results
from previous surgeons. During his 22-year career, Dr.
Abdullah has performed more than 6,500 surgical procedures
at his practices in the United States, Dubai, and now,
Karachi – his birthplace.
Because of Dr. Abdullah’s penchant for taking on difficult
cases and delivering naturally beautiful outcomes, he is
highly sought after by patients from around the globe. As
testimony to his skill, Dr. Abdullah regularly receives
outstanding patient reviews, many of which remark on his
compassionate bedside manner.
Dr. Abdullah is a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons, the
American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American
Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is board certified
by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American
Board of Surgery.
BEYOND PLASTIC SURGERY
Dr. Abdullah has amassed an impressive roster of
accomplishments outside of the surgical suite, as well. A
recognized expert on the restorative and medicinal effects
of aloe vera on the skin, his research has helped to
influence the manner in which aloe is used in skin care
applications. In fact, in 1996 Dr. Abdullah applied his
expertise to the development of his own professional line of
aloe-based skin care products. Today, the Lexli® line is
available in aesthetic and dermatological practices
throughout the United States and the Middle East.
In 2012, Dr. Abdullah’s first book written for consumers was
published in the USA. Simple Skincare, Beautiful Skin: A
Back-to-Basics Approach breaks through the myths associated
with skin care and empowers individuals by educating them
about skin function, the skin’s basic needs, and the most
beneficial skin care steps.
CERTIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
Dr. Abdullah is a clinical professor of plastic surgery at
the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, and
serves on the Ethics Committee of the North Dakota Medical
Association. Additionally, he is a member of the
International Aloe Science Council (IASC) based in Dallas,
Texas, and has served on the organization’s board of
directors.
After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern
University in Chicago, Dr. Abdullah completed his residency
at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston,
Texas.
