ABOUT SABIHA RITA HASAN
Aside from a passion for art, aesthetics and design, Sabiha
has had years of experience as a successful interior designer.
She attended the
Toronto School of Design where she attained an impressive
academic record and gained experience
designing office spaces for multinational companies and
private residences. In order to ensure that she had a good
recognition of Pakistani design and concept, she
attended the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture.
She also benefited greatly from her involvement in
commercial projects in Karachi. These experiences have come
together in the realization of her creative vision; Design
19.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Design 19 was created out of the realization that there were
demands in the market that were not being fulfilled by the
merchandise that was available. The
vision incorporates very exclusive pieces of furniture;
classic designs infused with contemporary
finishes and polishes for truly gorgeous, yet functional
furniture and decor pieces. While keeping in mind the
importance of individuality, the pieces are custom designed
and manufactured with the incorporation of unusual materials
and the employment of special processes to create a unique
finished product. A special eye for detail and quality is
what gives the pieces their special signature beauty. Design
19 guarantees quality, durability
and comfort.
Design 19 also specializes in interior designing and
collaboration of all types of design projects. Sabiha takes
a personal interest in each design project. Sabiha leads a
team of professionals to ensure that clients achieve their
