comprised mainly of continental choices, but the chef’s
signature items are his steak dishes. The chef is a seasoned
expert with over 15 years of experience in the food
industry. He has worked with numerous renowned
establishments and manages a team of fifteen. In addition,
only the most superior ingredients are used to prepare meals
and drinks. Each supplier has been verified and reference
checked with other industry players. Items on the menu have
been selected after an exhausting testing process involving
a whole team and more than 200 dishes.
Great care has been taken to
select only the finest ingredients and to incorporate the
most delectable recipes into the menu. Café 76 offers
impressive salads, sophisticated sandwiches and homemade
soups which are ideal for a light lunch or carb-conscious

numerous juicy steaks, which are served with crisp
vegetables and a choice of potatoes, or choose from the
contemporary seafood options. Some favorites on the menu
include the Chef’s Special Steak - a thick, succulent steak
with a special sauce and served with mushrooms, cherry
tomatoes, rocket leaves and potatoes au gratin; the
Mediterranean Sole - delicious grilled fish served in a
creamy herb sauce with an assortment of crisp vegetables and
potatoes au gratin; Grilled Jumbo Prawns - prawns marinated
to perfection in a tangy garlic butter sauce served with
rice and assorted vegetables; or the popular Chicken
Cacciatore - boneless breast of chicken marinated in special
sauce and then cooked with sun dried tomatoes, olives,
peppers and served on a bed of fettuccini. Amongst the
appetizers, the homemade French fries served with the unique
Café 76 sauce and buffalo wings have proved to be favorite
choices.
Café 76 also offers a fine selection of tempting desserts,
ranging from a traditional apple crumble which melts in your
mouth, feather light crepes and a truly decadent chocolate
fudge cake to satisfy the most demanding chocolate dessert

HYGIENE & CLEANLINESS
Hygiene is of utmost
importance at Café 76. Although the list is exhaustive, let
us mention a few of the hygiene related regulations
maintained by Café 76. In relation to personal hygiene, the
kitchen and serving staff is checked on a daily basis to
ensure that they meet the cleanliness standards prescribed
by management. This includes fresh uniforms & clothing,
clipped nails and clean hands for kitchen staff and servers.
Upon entering the cafe, all staff members are required to
wash hands with an antibacterial solution before
participating in food preparation or presentation. Kitchen
staff is required to wear hats.
All food
items have clearly defined labels with expiry dates and
proper storage techniques are implemented for all poultry
and diary items, all of which must be stored at the correct
temperatures. Separate chopping boards are used for
preparing raw meat, poultry and seafood and for fresh
produce such as salads, fruit and vegetables. Marinades that
have already been used on raw meat for cooked food are never
reused. Only meticulously clean plates are used to serve
food. Knives or other utensils which have been used on raw
meat are cleaned thoroughly before being used on other
foods. Cafe 76 goes the extra mile to ensure cleanliness in
all aspects of food preparation and service. In addition,
serving plates and cutlery are cleaned with white vinegar on
a weekly basis.
THE
